Under the Chief brings Candy Shorts to a hospital ward over five episodes, with a love-triangle twist that’s more about rivalry than romance. It suits people who like workplace power dynamics, an unlikely heroine and a villain hovering just outside the door.

It’s a small name in search, with only 6 searches in our 22–28 October data, and the one spelling we’ve seen adds “candy ai” to the title, a sign searchers want the actual source.
The format works in its favour. A hospital shift is a string of interruptions, pages and doors opening at the wrong time, and roughly a minute per episode keeps that rhythm. Each chapter can end with someone about to walk in, which is exactly the kind of cliff-hanger a three-way rivalry needs.
The story of Under the Chief
Harriet works on a hospital ward. Candy AI’s blurb calls her chubby and awkward, which sets her up as an underdog from the start. She doesn’t expect to be noticed, least of all by the chief of surgery.
Then he locks the on-call room door and offers her what the listing calls very “hands-on training”. The twist is the head nurse, who is jealous, wants Harriet fired, and is waiting right outside. So every scene runs on two clocks at once: the chief’s interest inside the room and the head nurse’s suspicion beyond it.
The head nurse is what lifts the premise above a simple boss fantasy. She isn’t just a risk of discovery; she has a motive. She wants Harriet gone, which means anything she sees could cost Harriet her job. That gives the series stakes for the lead, not just for the man in charge.
It’s a workplace fantasy with a clear structure. Harriet is the unlikely favourite, the chief holds the power, and the head nurse is the threat. Everyone involved is an adult professional, and the hospital is a backdrop rather than a medical drama.
Watching Under the Chief episode 1
Our viewing of episode 1 on Candy AI came in at exactly one minute, 1:00 on the clock.
It’s set on the hospital ward. Harriet, in blue scrubs, drops her files; the head nurse appears in white; and the chief of surgery is there too. That’s the opener: the three players introduced in one space, with Harriet’s clumsy moment as the first impression.
It’s a pure set-up episode. The locked door from the listing hasn’t come yet, at least not in what we watched. The other four episodes remain unopened by us.
Who’s who in Under the Chief
Harriet is the lead: awkward, self-conscious by the listing’s description, and suddenly the centre of attention. The chief of surgery is the man in charge who picks her out. The head nurse is the antagonist, dressed in white in the opener, jealous of Harriet and keen to see her dismissed.
Nobody in the cast list carries a creator credit; all three are made-up AI characters. The lead shares a first name with a creator who appears in other Candy Shorts, but Candy AI doesn’t link her to this series, so neither do we. Harriet here is simply the character’s name.
The three roles map neatly onto a hospital hierarchy. The chief sits at the top, the head nurse runs the ward day to day, and Harriet is the one dropping files. That ladder of rank is what gives each glance in the opener its weight.
Is Under the Chief explicit?
Not in episode 1, which has no nudity at all. Scrubs, a white uniform, dropped files and the three characters sizing each other up are all you see. The tension is about status and attention, not skin.

Under the Chief: full, free or leaked?
Episodes 1 and 2 are the free portion. The complete series means all five episodes, unlocked on Candy AI; Candy AI doesn’t release a single long version. Any upload labelled “full” or “leaked” elsewhere has nothing to do with Candy AI’s release, so we won’t link it or tell you what’s in it.
Because the title is short and generic, adding “candy ai” to your search is the most reliable way to land on the right series. There are no alternative titles that we’ve seen.
Should you watch Under the Chief?
If you like an underdog lead and a workplace triangle with a clear antagonist, the free episodes are worth trying. The 60-second opener introduces all three characters cleanly, so you’ll know straight away whether the setting appeals.
Skip it if you’d rather the story got intimate quickly, if boss-and-employee premises leave you cold, or if you want a long, plot-heavy series. The opener is introductions and a dropped stack of files.
For anyone still undecided, the low entry cost is the best argument. The ward scene and the second episode cost nothing, and the remaining shifts total 36 tokens, about a third of one Premium month’s allowance. That’s a small price to see whether Harriet keeps her job and whether the head nurse gets her way.
